Before heading to a big family dinner on Friday night, I was looking for a local wine specialist.  Since I live in California (near Napa Valley), I’ve become a bit snobby about my wine selection.  I asked my family, friends, and restaurateurs for liquor store recommendations.  They all sent me to the “Wine Room” @ Buy the Bottle.  They told me they have been going to Buy the Bottle for years…even before it was named Buy the Bottle.  Apparently, this store (FKA Cappy’s) has been run by the same family since wine was invented.

I drove to the store and after 30 minutes of pure pleasure, I left with a case and a smile ear to ear.  Gene was substantially informed in regional and non regional wines.  I was impressed by his knowledge (better than some wine tasting concierges in Napa).  The staff was very patient with me and answered all my questions.  I felt very comfortable in B-the-B.  You can tell they focus on customer satisfaction…  I truly received EXCELENT CUSTOMER CARE!

The wine I purchased was so very delicious and I impressed my family by rattling off all the details I learned while in B-the-B.  Gene also told me that his family has been making wine since before they moved to America from Italy.
